Dear readers,

First of all, I want to say hello to all of you.

I am Nazan Akay.

Everyday, I will routinely share touristic information that I think you will find interesting on my blog. These will sometimes be current topics related to tourism, and sometimes I will share cultural and interesting topics for promotional purposes.

However, as you will appreciate, since today is my first blog, the subject of the post is me and Rotalia Tourism :)

Without boring you, I would like to briefly give you information about myself.

I am a graduate of Kocaeli University, Department of Tourism Guidance. I have been in the tourism sector for approximately 14 years since 2010.

I have been involved in many areas of the tourism sector until today. My experience as an assistant guide in the Black Sea tours for the first 1.5 years not only allowed me to meet the magnificent regions of my beautiful country, but also provided me with the opportunity to meet the regions where my ancestors lived. That was the first time I met the concept of “visiting a place with longing”. I will share this with you in detail one day. ☺️

Later, I worked as a tourist guide in Greece and its islands on the tourist ships of respected tourism companies for 5 years. Due to this experience, I always miss Greece with the love of a second homeland. Later, I had the opportunity to gain experience in Balkan tours for a short time. From 2016 to 2023, I also worked in Far East and Latin operations in incoming tourism companies. I worked in the positions of incoming department head and department manager in these companies. Finally, as of the beginning of 2024, I started with the belief that it would be the right decision as a tourism professional to introduce you to the tourism experience I have gained so far.

Who is Rotalia Tourism?

It is a company that supports sustainable tourism and introduces different cultures, and also provides travel consultancy services. In addition, it is a sales platform where we can bring the touristic products we produce to you on this site.

Our founding purpose is to inform the beautiful people of our country more about tourism and introduce them to many different cultures, and at the same time to introduce our country to the people of the world and to contribute to our country reaching the place it deserves in world tourism.

As can be understood from our title, on this path we embarked on with good intentions and goals, with the motto “life is a book, those who do not travel and see always read the same page”,

I would like to end my article by emphasizing how important traveling, seeing and getting to know is for our lives.
